Sam's Club offers a range of products at wholesale prices. These include groceries, mattresses, tires, pharmacy products, optical items, bakery goods, floral items, and more. The membership program consists of two tiers, with different prices for each. The Club Membership costs $50 per year and the Plus Membership costs $110 per year. Starting from October 17, 2022, these membership fees increased from $45 to $50 for Club members and from $100 to $110 for Plus members. The fee for add-on memberships also increased from $40 to $45. Existing members that renewed between October 17, 2022, to October 16, 2023, automatically earned $5 or $10 Sam’s Cash to offset the price increase, depending on their membership level. Members that renewed at the Club membership level received $5, and members that renewed at the Plus level received $10. Primary members received $5 for each add-on member that was renewed. Sam’s Cash was automatically applied to the member’s Sam’s Cash account within 24 hours. There were no additional steps needed to earn the Sam’s Cash. The price adjustment impacted new members upon their annual renewal date. If their renewal date was on or after October 17, 2022, that’s when they saw the adjustment go into effect. Renewals before October 17, 2022, were at the current fee ($45 for Club membership/$100 for Plus membership).

Samsclub.com offers a wide range of products and services. Some of the popular products include Groceries, Mattresses, Tires, Pharmacy, Optical, Bakery, Floral, and more. In addition to these products, they also provide various services under the umbrella of Club Services. These services include Health Services, Auto Care & Buying, Protection & Installation, Home Improvement & Maintenance, Travel & Entertainment, Photos & Customization, Business Services, and more. They also offer unique shopping features like Scan & Go and Curbside Pickup. With Scan & Go, customers can shop contact-free by scanning and paying in the Sam's Club app, skipping the checkout line. Curbside Pickup is free for Plus members, allowing them to shop online, pay, and park, with the added convenience of having their purchases loaded into their car. They also offer Same-Day Delivery for as low as $8 if ordered by 1pm. Additionally, they offer a credit service where Plus members can earn back on Sam's Club purchases and all members can earn back on gas, dining, and other purchases.

At SamsClub.com, various payment methods are accepted. All major credit cards drawn from U.S. based accounts are accepted, excluding territories and/or municipalities. However, international credit cards are not accepted either in club or online.

To add a new payment method, one can go to the online account information screen, select Payment Methods or Gift Cards under the Checkout preferences heading, and click the + Add link. A text box will appear to complete the required fields. If one wishes to make this the primary purchasing card for the SamsClub.com account, they can check "Make this your preferred card" and click [Save] or [Done] depending on the device and/or platform.

To change/update a payment method already on file, one can go to the Account information page, scroll down to the Checkout preferences heading, click the Payment methods page, and select the edit link in line with the card that needs to be altered. After making the required changes (name/card number/expiration/cvv), click [Save].

To delete a payment method, select My Payment Settings under the My Membership heading and click the Remove link in the box of the card that one wishes to delete from the online account. If one is enrolled in Auto Renew, they will not be able to remove the card selected to pay the renewal fee.

For Sam's Club Credit, payments can be made online by visiting www.samsclub.com/credit and selecting Manage Your Credit Account. Payments are generally posted to the account the same day. One can also pay by phone by calling the number on the back of the card.

Please note that EBT / SNAP can only be used for club purchases and not for online purchases or pickup orders.

If there are issues with changing payment information on the app, updating via desktop is recommended. If issues persist, deleting cookies, deleting history, and restarting the computer may help.

If a member is not satisfied with a purchase made online or in club, a refund or replacement can be issued, with a few exceptions. Most items can be returned at any time, unless noted otherwise. Electronics and major appliances can be returned within 90 days, commercial heavy equipment and motorsports items within 30 days, and cell phones (prepaid, postpaid and no contract) within 14 days. However, gift cards and prepaid cards, tickets, custom-made items, purchases made through the Sam's Club Wholesale Trading Program, prescriptions, beer, wine and spirits, automotive tires and batteries, cigarettes and tobacco, eyeglasses, and hearing aids cannot be returned.

There are three ways to return items: bring it to a club, ship it back, or call the customer service. For shipping back, the return process for items ordered online can be started by going to order details in the account or visiting the Help Center. Any accessories and packing slips that came with the original package should also be returned. The refund will be issued as cash or credit, depending on the original form of payment.

As for the shipping policy, Plus Members with an active membership receive free shipping on eligible items, with no minimum purchase. Club Members and their guests may be eligible for free shipping on a limited assortment of items that are marked accordingly; however, most items will incur shipping costs. Free shipping for both Plus Members and Club Members is limited to a total of up to 10 addresses. Shipping and delivery charges will be refunded or credited only if the return is a result of an error by Sam’s Club or if the item was damaged during shipping. For same day delivery, the standard delivery fee for Club members is $12 and $8 for Plus members per delivery. Some items are not eligible for delivery, including but not limited to, gift cards, tires, flowers, prescriptions, Café items, mobile phones and alcohol and tobacco products. Other restrictions apply.

Most purchases made on SamsClub.com may be returned to any Sam’s Club location in the United States. If an item purchased online cannot be returned to a Sam’s Club location, it will be noted on the product page. Unfortunately, SamsClub.com is unable to process returns for purchases made in a club. To start a return through SamsClub.com, go to order details under the account, then select Return Item. Print the return label, attach to the package, and send. Alternatively, call the Member Service Center at 1-888-746-7726, and they’ll be ready to assist. Please have the membership number and order number available. Shipping and delivery charges will be refunded or credited only if the return is a result of an error by Sam’s Club or if the item was damaged during shipping. If the original receipt or printed order is not available, Sam's Club will do its best to process the return without it. It is preferred to return the packaging and everything that came with the product.
